LRGHealthcare is a small community based healthcare organization that is focused on providing quality health care emphasizing Care, Compassion and Community. Located in central New Hampshire, the organization includes two hospitals and several provider practices/services in the Lakes Region area which offers a broad range of services. Lakes Region General Hospital is a community and regional acute care facility. Franklin Regional Hospital is licensed as a critical access hospital.

Under the direction of the Section Head with oversight by the Laboratory Director the MT/MLT III is responsible for performing clinical laboratory procedures to include phlebotomy which require the exercise of independent judgment and responsibility in those categories in which he/she is qualified by education, training and experience. Job specific criteria will vary depending on the clinical area assigned. The MT/MLT III is responsible for the performance of testing activities that promote the highest level of quality laboratory processing and analysis achievable. Effectively consults and collaborates with other health care team members to assure the provision of safe, appropriate patient care: the right test on the right patient at the right time.

MT/MLT III maintains competency in multiple sections within the Laboratory. The MT/MLT III maintains competency in both the LRGH Laboratory and the FRH Laboratory.

Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science required; BS, MT preferred. Must possess appropriate experience, certification or registration to qualify as general testing personnel in accordance with CLIA'88 regulations. MT(ASCP) or equivalent preferred, or must be obtained within one year of hire. Experience in acute care hospital lab preferred. Applicant should be detail-oriented, be proficient in the use of computer systems, and be able to develop good working relationships with others. Applicant must be able to work in a latex environment.
