| Responsible for assisting the physician before surgery with room setup, preparing sterile tools and making sure they are in proper working order and patient preparation. Passes instruments and retracts tissue during surgery. Assists with transferring patient to recovery and cleaning the operating room post-operatively. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology and be certified or able to sit for certification exam. Must obtain Medical Technician Registry within 60 days of hire. |
