WOW! Were you at the 10th Annual TangerFIT 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, 9/30? We hope so! It one of the most successful races in our ten year history and certainly still has many participants talking about it today. Yesterday was a day about rallying the community to honor breast cancer survivors and to remember those who lost their fight. Let us not forget about the importance of your corporate support though. It’s community-minded businesses like yours that allows events like our road race to raise thousands of dollars for charitable organizations that’s making a difference around the community and staying local, so thank you! Patients at LRGHealthcare will certainly benefit from your generosity.
The temps were on point and welcomed by the nearly 850 participants (yes, 850!). Once again there were over 50 volunteers coordinated by LRGHealthcare that helped to make the morning run smoothly! A round of applause and congratulations to Team Uno Pizzeria & Grill who won ‘Best Team T-Shirt’, Team Medical Imaging for winning the ‘Coach Amy Dutton’s Most Spirited’ Award and to Team Lisa who won ‘Largest Team’ Award – second year in a row for Team Lisa!
