What We Say

I’m glad to be able to give to each patient my best. Every day is a learning experience and nursing is a continuing learning process.

In my department, we do not serve patients directly, but we serve the people who do. It is important to ensure direct caregivers have what they need to provide quality care. It is rewarding to know I make a difference.

Advocating for our patients has been my most important responsibility. It has been a pleasure coming to work at Concord Hospital – Laconia every day and facing new and different challenges to resolve!
What We Do
Concord Hospital – Laconia community involvement
The lakeside and surrounding community is at the heart of everything we do, which is why we are committed to making a difference every year.
We participate in several local events and provide donations to charities including:
The Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction: This event raised over $500,000 in 2017. Concord Hospital – Laconia has supported this event for over 20 years. Employees participate by manning the phone banks, departments create baskets of items to be auctioned off, employees contribute and bid on hundreds of auction items, we participate by hosting a chair for the 24 hour bar stool challenge and by participating in fundraising events throughout the years to take care of the needs of the Lakes Regions Children.
The Second Bridge for Recovery Walk to support Mental Health and Substance Misuse is held in Franklin at Concord Hospital – Franklin. The walk which is put on by Concord Hospital – Laconia is to provide a bridge of funds to support anyone seeking recovery in the time before their insurance begins coverage for Medically Assisted Treatment or to provide Mental Health support.
